1. YAMAHA ELECTRIC ACOUSTIC GUITAR Owner s Manual Thank you for choosing a Yamaha electric acoustic guitar In order to make the most of the advanced features and performance provided by your guitar please read this manual carefully before using the instrument PRECAUTIONS e Always set the VOLUME control to 0 when plugging in or unplugging the connection cable The battery check indicator will light briefly when a plug is inserted or removed from the output jack This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction The built in preamplifier is automatically turned on when a plug is inserted into the output jack Remove the plug from the output jack to turn off preamplifier power and avoid unnecessary battery drain whenever the instrument is not used or when playing without amplification If the instrument is not going to be used for an extended period of time we recommend that the battery be removed in order to avoid power consumption or leakage SPECIFICATIONS System SYSTEM 60 Mono 3 way Pickup Contact Pickup Acoustic Resonance Transducer installed inside of the body Master volume VOL Pickup level control MAIN TREBLE BASS Output jack Combination end pin power switch Output impedance 2 kQ Power supply 9V DC S 006P 6F22 dry cell battery Battery life Approx 50 hours When using a manganese battery Varies according to operating conditions e Hexagonal wrench for
2. indicator lights Battery case DC9V S 006P 6F22 Lever USING THE SOUND HOLE COVER Feedback often occurs when controls are boosted on the electric acous tic guitar to match the volume of other instruments when playing in a band When the instrument is used under the conditions described above the Sound Hole Cover should be inserted into the sound hole With the Sound Hole Cover in place feedback is effectively reduced Remove the sound hole cover before storing instruments with lacquer finishes L 36 models etc Not doing so can damage the finish
