See Agilent Technologies Installing the Tray Belt Modification G1600 60026 Remove tray base assembly Remove foam parts a and foam insert b from the sample carousel Do not remove the heat exchanger 2 Remove all segments a Loosen screws that hold tray motor b Remove motor tooth wheel by opening the two small hex screws c Remove tray motor and tray belt d Put roller plate on top of foam a Make sure the three holes fit correctly b Use a knife to cut away overlapping foam 4 The new cut out must look like this a Remove all foam cuttings Remaining cuttings inhibit proper function Copyright Agilent Technologies 2000 1 Installing the Tray Belt Modification G1600 60026 5 Insert the roller plate a 6 Put the motor tooth wheel a back and Put the tray motor back b tighten the two hex screws Use the provided screws and fix the motor Insert the bearing sleeve b c Do not tighten it completely because the tension of the tray belt needs to be adjusted 7 Install the longer tray belt a part number 1500 1040 labeled B340 MXL Ensure proper alignment of the tray belt on the belt roller b the tooth wheel c and the tray d Move the motor to give the tray belt a certain tension It is not necessary to over do it Tighten the tray motor screws e
